As part of its award-winning healthcare network, Scott & White Hospital plans to build a  full-service regional hospital designed to provide complete cardiology, orthopedic, gastrointestinal, obstetric and gynecological, neurological and respiratory/ pulmonary care.

The planned hospital will have at least 80 private beds with medical, surgical, labor and delivery, post-partum, ICU, CCU and cardiac intensive care services along with a full service cardiology step-down unit.

The hospital facilities will start construction as soon as the utilities are delivered to the site.  Utilities are being provided by the City of Marble Falls and the first contracts on the construction of the utilites were let in March 2009.  As such, ground breaking could occur in early 2010.  with completion of the first phase of facilities in early 2011.
